Computer Viruses

So, I was over at one of Damians grandmothers friends' house to install a new multi-function printer and when we got there and walked in to the computer room and were surprised to see the BSOD on the screen. So we sat down and tried to take care of it...well come to find out, this computer was being held in a choke-hold by the virus that it had and since it was manufactured by Dell (as opposed to being a home-made computer) we didnt know how to work the BIOS right, so we brought it home to my dads house.

We hooked it up to our Home-base Diagnostic Center (see above), and had a good look at it. Well, leave it to dad to find the quickest way to fix a computer. He works with Dells a lot at work, and knew exactly what to do with it, and within 10 minutes he had the fresh install of Windows loading up while he sat on the couch and chilled.

It was pretty impressive to see, since both me and Damian failed epically at fixing her computer on-the-spot. This just goes to show for all you people out there that my dad is pretty much God when it comes to computers. I'm looking forward to seeing how happy the lady is when we take her computer back to her all ship-shape and ready to go, and for naught a penny. It feels good to do something nice for people now and then. =)
